Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary awarded the Kern Family Foundation Award for outstanding performance in entrepreneurship in church and community to Derek Canton, CEO & Founder of G1G God is Good LLC.

I have successfully launched an apparel company, won the worlds largest financial technology hackathon, attracted investors, and I am now working on my second venture. I love coming along aside and helping other entrepreneurs so that together we can grow as entrepreneurial business leaders. I am also passionate about sharing what I have learned about keeping motivated and building a business confidently, as a motivational speaker to young business leaders.

In my more than twenty years in higher education, I have never encountered a person more eager to learn and driven to succeed as Derek Canton. Derek is a very warm and sincere individual. He is extremely approachable, always willing to help others.
